On day three we picked the logo that Shireen designed based on our ideas. Later we made a list of all the equipment needed to open our espresso bar. We went to local coffee shops to see how they layout all their equipment, after we researched the cost of the equipment, pluming and electrical specs. Then we came up with marketing vehicles (ways for us to advertise ourselves) and made our sandwich board.
pricing out everything is stressful!
As the day progressed we came up with stencil phrases which we use to decorate all of our espresso drinks. We priced fliers, stickers and flags at both local and non local stores. We also learned about having an Internet presence such as facebook, twitter and blogs. We conducted market research by asking potential customers what they buy the most at coffee shops.
as we had success. We are so close to being up and running, we know we will do great!
